Welcome to Pronghorn Resort! It is a pleasure to have you stay with us. Our goal is to provide an experience for you that creates wonderful memories to last a lifetime. 

Together, we face this global pandemic that is affecting all of our families, businesses and communities. I want to reach out to you, personally, to update you on how we are addressing this situation at Pronghorn. We kindly ask that you help us to help keep you safe. Your understanding that these are unprecedented times with circumstances beyond our control is much appreciated.

Health & Sanitation Program

We are closely monitoring government policy changes, CDC guidelines, government mandates, and public health advancement and will continue to make changes to our protocols and procedures as necessary and appropriate.

Guest Health & Safety

  • The health and safety of our employees and guests is our number one priority.

Social Distance

  • Guests will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from those not traveling with them. Restaurant tables and public spaces will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing. 

Hand Sanitizer

  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed at guest and employee entrances and contact areas. 

Facial Covering

  • Due to the state mandated requirement of facial coverings, all guests will be required to wear a facial covering in all public indoor spaces. Please be advised that this state mandate will be enforced. Face coverings are  available for purchase. 

Case Notification

  • If we are alerted to a presumptive case of COVID-19 at the resort, we will work with the OHA to follow the appropriate actions recommended by it.

Employee’s Responsibilities

  • Pronghorn Employees are vital for an effective sanitation and health program.

Hand Washing

  • All Pronghorn employees have been instructed to appropriately wash their hands or use sanitizer when a sink is not available.

Facial Covering

  • Due to the state mandated requirement of facial coverings, all guests will be required to wear a facial covering in all public indoor spaces. Please be advised that this state mandate will be enforced. Face coverings are  available for purchase. 

COVID-19 Training

  • All employees will receive relevant training on COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols with more comprehensive training for our teams with frequent guest contact.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Appropriate PPE will be worn by employees based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence to state and county regulations. 

Housekeeping

  • Associates will change gloves between tasks and between units.
  • CDC approved disinfectants will be used on all surfaces.
  • Daily services have been suspended.
  • Guests must vacate the room for any services provided.

Guest Services

  • All extra bedding, glassware, coffee bar items, brochures and other accessories have been removed from units, but are available upon request and delivered to the exterior of your unit.

Transportation

  • Guests must handle their own luggage and golf bags.
  • Shuttles will be sanitized between parties.

Cleaning Products and Protocols

  • Pronghorn Resort meets or exceeds EPA guidelines and products proven effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. 

Public Spaces and Communal Areas

  • The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces.

Guest Rooms

  • CDC and EPA protocols are used to sanitize guest rooms. Daily service has been suspended and will be available upon request only.

Restaurants and Bars

  • Restaurants and bars will reduce seating capacities to accommodate social distance mandates.

Meeting and Convention Spaces

  • Meeting and banquet set-up arrangements will accommodate social distance mandates for meetings and events. Self-serve buffet style food service has been suspended. 
Facial Covering

Fully vaccinated guests may choose to provide proof of vaccination in order to visit the resort mask-free per mandates issued by the State of Oregon. However, should a guest choose not to disclose proof of vaccination, a facial covering is required indoors.

Upon arrival at the resort, guests have the opportunity to provide proof of vaccination at the Welcome Cottage in order to receive a wristband indicating full vaccination. 

Social distancing protocols must be observed by all guests.

Resort Services & Amenities
  • Daily housekeeping services have been suspended in an effort to minimize exposure for the safety of our guests and employees.
  • Porter and valet service have been suspended to minimize the number of touch points.
  • In-room amenities, such as drinkware, coffee pods, robes, extra bedding, etc, have been removed from all rooms to minimize touch points but are available upon request.
Dining

Coyote Lounge Hours: 

  • Friday: 4 pm – 10 pm 
  • Saturday: 7 am – 11 am, 4 pm – 10 pm 
  • Sunday: 7 am – 11 am
  • Take Away only. Fireside patio seating available.

 

Trailhead Grill Hours:

  • Daily : 8 am – 9 pm

Heaters & blankets are available. Warm clothing is recommended.

Grill on the Green Hours:

  • Daily: 8 am – 4 pm
  • Beverage cart service available Friday – Sunday 9 am – 5 pm weather permitting

Golf
  • The most efficient and touchless method of booking a tee time is to book online at PronghornResort.com/activities/golf.
  • Golf carts, pull carts and accessories are thoroughly sanitized after every use.
  • You will find rakes on the backs of every cart. These rakes are sanitized after each round.
  • Walking the course instead of using a golf cart is highly encouraged. 
  • The bag drop will not be available as staff will not be handling bags in an effort to minimize touches.
  • Pins will remain on course, but we ask they be left in the cup for play.

  • 6 guest maximum capacity, 50 minute session

  • Fitness classes will follow all social distance guidelines. 
The Spa at Pronghorn

The Spa at Pronghorn is open with measures taken to follow WHO, CDC and OHA guidelines. Please be advised of the following: 

  • You will be asked a series of screening questions regarding COVID19. Should you experience symptoms of COVID19 or have been in proximity of any who has been diagnosed with COVID19, you will be asked to refrain from entering the spa and to reschedule your appointment.
  • Fully vaccinated guests may choose to provide proof of vaccination in order to visit the resort mask-free per mandates issued by the State of Oregon. However, should a guest choose not to disclose proof of vaccination, a facial covering is required indoors.
  • Social distancing signage and best practices must be followed.
  • Temperatures will be taken prior to your appointment.
  • Two guests per sauna/steam room

Wellness Policy – COVID-19 Update

The wellbeing of our guests and associates is of utmost importance, and we want to assure you that Pronghorn Resort is taking significant action and precautionary measures to promote health and wellness. 

We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.

We will ensure that our resort staff is symptom-free before commencing work. We kindly ask for the same considerations from you. If you have any flu-like symptoms or have recently traveled out of the country or to a highly impacted area, we ask that you reschedule your stay with us to a later date.

It is with great pride and concern that we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:

Associate Health, Safety and Knowledge: Resort associates – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some of the ways we are supporting them:

Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. In our daily meetings, our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It is important for their health and that of our guests.

Ongoing Training: In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, resort associates are also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.

Cleaning Products and Protocols: Our resort uses EPA-approved cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including:

Guest Rooms: Additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols have been implemented to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with additional attention given to high-touch areas. New room keys are given to each guest. 

Public Spaces: The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles and public restrooms has been increased.

Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” we have increased the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, locker rooms, laundry rooms and staff offices.
