When Sarah was designing the cocktail menu for The Coyote, she knew she wanted a beverage that reflected both the design and inspiration behind the Huntington Lodge. The earth and its natural elements play a central role in the aesthetic of the Lodge. She wanted the signature cocktail to mirror that organic, earthy vibe. Gin, Grand Marnier, lime, agave, a combination of bitters, soda water, juniper, and voila! The Huntington cocktail was born.
What really makes this cocktail shine is the gin selection. Sarah chose Hendrick’s Gin because of its unique flavor profile. Hendrick’s is infused with the essence of rose and cucumber, combined with a divine blend of eleven other botanicals. The balance and botanical notes are perfect for this high desert cocktail.
Add a juniper sprig for a nod to the high desert.

Cocktail Recipe: The Huntington
2.5oz Hendrick’s Gin
0.5oz Grand Marnier
0.25oz lime juice
3 dashes Angostura bitters
3 dashes Orange Bitters
In a cocktail shaker, mix the gin, grand marnier, lime juice, agave and both of the bitters over ice. Shake well. Pour into a bucket glass over ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel and a juniper sprig and serve.
